The Dink Quest story began as a simple idea: What if we created something that didn’t just report on pickleball in the UK—but helped build it?

We didn’t start Dink Quest to be trendy. We started it because we fell in love with a game.

Dink Quest Story. Not just the game itself—the satisfying pop of a paddle, the chaos of a good dink battle, the gentle competitiveness of doubles—but everything around it. The laughter on the side lines. The way strangers become teammates. The way people—especially in the UK—are finding new energy, new friendships, and new reasons to get moving again.

What if there was a space where players could discover not just where to play, but who was playing, what they cared about, and how the sport was changing lives? A space to celebrate the real people behind the paddles—from grassroots organisers and unsung coaches to first-time players stepping nervously onto a court.

So we did it. And we called it Dink Quest.

Dink Quest was born on a UK court—not a big glossy tournament one, but a council leisure centre with faded lines and dodgy lighting. It was a Tuesday. It was raining (of course). And someone mentioned how hard it was to find clear info on clubs, coaching, or gear—especially for beginners.

That one chat turned into a scribbled notebook. That notebook turned into a plan. And that plan turned into Dink Quest—a magazine-style website and online community dedicated to all things pickleball in the UK.

We’re not trying to be flashy. We’re trying to be real.
